NZ jobs failed to meet high expectations, unemployment rate falls

FXStreet (Bali) - As reported by NZ Household Labour Force Survey for the June 2014 quarter, which compared figures with the March 2014 quarter, the number of people employed increased by 10,000 people (+0.4%), the employment rate fell 0.1 percentage points, to 65.0 percent, the number of people unemployed decreased by 9,000 people, with the unemployment rate falling 0.3 percentage points to 5.6 percent. The labour force participation rate decreased 0.3 percentage points, to 68.9 percent.
